Abstract:
At present the European Union’s enlargement process represents a biunivocal process. On the one hand, the aspirant countries need to make an effort to integrate with the European Union. The South-Eastern European countries must attain a real level of economic growth, having democratic institutions, and realize a regional stability. On the other hand, it is evident that the security and stability in the South-Eastern Europe can be guaranteed through the European integration channels. The achievement of this objective is a vital interest of the nations of this region.
