The role of viticulture in the development of the agricultural sector

Abstract

Viticulture is the science that studies the agrobiological peculiarities of the vine, in order to satisfy them, through the development and continuous improvement of culture technologies, in order to obtain large, relatively constant harvests, of superior quality and efficient at the same time. It deals with the cultivation of vines to obtain grapes. The name viticulture comes from the Latin language ("vitis" - vine; "culture" - cultivation, care).
