Șarja – contribuție umoristică și satirică la memoria culturală

Abstract

„Portrait caricature” is a type of caricature that was practiced by a small number of artists from our country, such as Glebus Sainciuc, Filimon Hamuraru, Isaie Cirmu, Sergiu Puica. However, the stylistic approach and the technical procedures used are diverse and have contributed to the development of the respective graphic art. The line, the tonal stain, the shape and sometimes the color constitute everything as a whole that offers the possibility to highlight both the physical and non-physical traits of the person in the drawing. It is remarkable that these cartoons see the light of day, most of the time, on the pages of newspapers, books with poems or epigrams and sometimes specialized magazines. Thus, in this, several graphic sheets in the National Library of Moldova, in the archives of the "Mihail Kogălniceanu" National Museum of Literature and in the archives of Social-Political Organizations of the Republic of Moldova are analyzed.
