Portul Internaţional Liber Giurgiuleşti – obiect strategic pentru economia Republicii Moldova

Abstract

Geopolitical events taking place in the Black Sea region in recent years, not only warned the bordering states or those in the region, but also the entire international community. This has caused neighboring countries to review their military doctrine and economic security issues. Moldova is in the proximity with the military conflict area in Ukraine thas the only sea-river port that has a strategic role for the economy, and is also geographically vulnerable, should undertake a series of decisive measures. In this article we intend to examine the economic aspects of the activity of this port.
