Abstract:

Infrared reflectivity spectra and Raman scattering of the ZnAl2S4 and CdIn2S4 crystals have been investigated. Reflectivity spectra contours were calculated and phonon parameters and dielectric constants were determined. Effective charges for the Zn, Cd, In and S ions of these materials were determined.
