Abstract:
Building norms are the foundation for the sustainable development of a country's industry. Taking into account the rapid economic development and emphasizing that the gates of the Moldovan market are increasingly oriented towards the European Union, there is a vital need to adopt the EU standards and norms. In the context of the Republic of Moldova - European Union Association Agreement and the harmonization of the construction norms with the European ones, there is a need for further research on the harmonization of the current norms. This article aims to evaluate the efficiency of Eurocode implementation in the Republic of Moldova by studying Romania's experience and to provide / appreciate the technical and economic effects it will produce on the economy and branch of construction in the country. At the same time, solutions will be offered on their adoption and implementation in the country.
