dc.description.abstract The paper presents some aspects regarding the elaboration and development of untraditional drying methods which involve microwave use. It’s analyzed the kinetic of the drying process in the first and second period. Also, is studied the influence of magnetron power on drying speed, cherries quality indicators and energy consumption. These data allow to make an objective analysis of microwave drying method.
