Abstract:
The purpose of this review is to challenge different points of view and counter arguments that using laboratory animals is the best way to research new drugs and other consumer products. Laboratory animals occupy a unique place in biomedical research and this knowledge can be applied to humans. Typically, the tests meet in accordance with the country's legal regulations and are "the last safety tests done before a drug is administered to people for mass testing." Here we review current understanding, the causes and consequences of experimentation, and the seriousness of any procedure involving animals.
