Abstract:
Ensuring the conservation of thermal energy in traditional winter dwellings in rural areas of the Republic of Moldova is an important issue, particularly given the ongoing rise in the costs of thermal energy generation resources. Recent advancements in the construction industry reflect a growing emphasis on energy efficiency, with a focus on achieving minimal or even near-zero energy consumption. The authors would like to propose an analysis of existing wall thermal insulation technologies and materials, to enhance the energy efficiency of traditional homes while honoring the principles of sustainability and preserving the architectural integrity of their facades. This study aims to offer practical and cost-effective recommendations to support the promotion of traditional energy-efficient housing.
