Abstract:
The process, according to the invention, includes feeding bees in the spring with a mixture of 50% sugar syrup and 1.0-3.0 mL/L of aqueous solution containing dehydroabietic acid, KOH and distilled water up to 200 ml, in an amount of 1.0 L of mixture per bee colony, every 7 days, from April until the main harvest.
The result of the invention is that feeding bees in the spring, in the absence of a maintenance honey collection, with a mixture of 50% sugar syrup in the amount of 1.0 L of the mixture per bee colony, every 7 days, starting with April until the main collection, ensures an increase in the strength of bee colonies by 11.36-22.73%, the number of hatched brood and queen brood by 5.97-24.63% and honey production.
