Abstract

The need to carry out this study arises in the context where ensuring adequate protection for children becomes a priority for national authorities. Analyzing the issue of connecting national legislation to international provisions in the field of child rights protection, the Republic of Moldova has made important progress in the development of the child protection system. However, aligning the regulatory framework and practices in the field with the provisions of the UN Convention on the Rights of the Child remains a challenge.
