Abstract:
The study of broilers development in different lots at different times of the year showed that there were no significant differences between the values of body weight in group I and III. At the end of the chicks growth the average of body weight was 2254,4 g or lower than in the first group of chickens with 7,6%, but not more enhanced as compared with group II with 19,8%.Analyzing the values of slaughter yield there was found that this index was higher in group III being 82,2 %, in group I the index was 81,7% and the lowest index was in group II - 80,9%, the difference being in groups II and III of 1,3% and 0,5%.It can be concluded that in group I and III chickens reared in the farm during April-May and September-October had better growth results than chickens reared in June-July.
