dc.description.abstract Some of the main projected effects of Climate Changes in Moldova by late XXI century will include surface temperature increase by as much as 5.6 K, and decrease in water availability by up to 55 %, which, on the one hand will reduce energy consumption for heating up to 60 % ,and on the other, will increase ventilation and conditioning consumption by over 120 %. Water shortages will require to switch from building condensing Thermal Power Plants to more water-efficient cogeneration and trigeneration plants. In order to o reduce the energy cost and water consumption of trigeneration and industrial refrigeration installations it will be given preference to absorption refrigeration machines. It will be rational to produce water by collecting condensate from refrigeration systems and drying installations’ heat pumps. en_US
