dc.description.abstract	This paper addresses issues of sustainable development and of shifting to a green economy projected in particular on the energy sector. Characteristics of the national retrospective energy consumption and evolution of primary and final energy consumption by the horizon 2020 are presented. The adjusted national targets in the areas of energy efficiency and renewable energy, and the main directions of "greening" the energy sector are described.	en_US
