dc.description.abstract | The aim of the proposed investigation was to establish the incidence of the bacterial microflora of the genus Salmonella spp. presented in some poultry farms as well as in poultry carcasses and eggs sold in the food network of the central agricultural market from Chisinau. During the investigation was studied the type and number of bacterial colonies and was serotyped the bacteria of the genus Salmonella spp. According to the obtained results we can mention that out of 110 examined samples of poultry carcasses, pathogenic serotypes of Salmonella spp. were identified in 14 samples, which confirms that out of the total number of examined samples 12.7% were isolated pathogenic serotypes of Salmonella spp., especially Salmonella gallinarum, Salmonella enteritidis and Salmonella Infantins. After performing the serotyping, out of 80 examined eggs samples in 5 samples were identified pathogenic serotypes of Salmonella spp., such as: Salmonella gallinarum, Salmonella dublin, Salmonella typhimurium, which constituted 6.25% of the total number of examined samples. The use of vaccines against Salmonella spp. on some poultry farms has contributed reduction of nonstandard eggs with 2% and vetellin peritonitis in laying hens with 4% reduction, which demonstrate the contributes to reducing the spread of salmonellosis in birds and in the same time reducing the risk of food poisoning in humans. | en_US |
