Proiectul propus are ca scop realizarea cercetărilor aplicative în domeniul nanotehnologiilor, aplicarea metodelor cost-efective pentru sinteza și caracterizarea nanoheterojoncţiunilor fazelor mixte de CuO/Cu2O, funcţionalizarea suprafeţei cu nanopuncte de Pd și PdO2 și cercetarea lor în calitate de senzori de gaze ce ar permite detectarea rapidă și efi cientă a gazelor explozive și volatile. Pentru cercetarea detaliată a materialelor se vor folosi metode moderne, pentru caracterizarea structurală se va folosi XRD, pentru caracterizarea morfologică se va folosi SEM cu o rezoluţie înaltă, pentru caracterizarea modurilor vibraţionale se va folosi micro-Raman, iar pentru caracterizarea chimică se va folosi EDX.
The proposed project aims at the implementation of applied nanotechnology research, the application of cost-effective methods for the synthesis and characterization of CuO/Cu2O mixed phase nanoheterojunctions, the functionalization of surface with nanodots of Pd and PdO2 and their research as gas sensors that would allow rapid and efficient detection of explosive and volatile gases. For the detailed investigation of the materials we will use modern methods, XRD will be used for the structural characterization, high resolution SEM will be used for the morphological characterization, micro-Raman will be used for the characterization of the vibrational modes and for the chemical characterization EDX.
