dc.description.abstract The influence of a complex biologically active preparation, developed based on extracts of yeast and cyanobacterial origin, on the quality and quantity of ram sperm during the non-breeding season was studied. The animals were divided into three groups, each consisting of three rams: a control group and two experimental groups. The first experimental group received a complex biologically active preparation at a dosage of 5 ml per head daily for 50 days, while the second group received 10 ml per head daily. The inclusion of a complex biologically active preparation in the diet of rams led to a significant improvement in both the qualitative and quantitative parameters of sperm during the non-breeding season. Sperm concentration increased by 12.3% in the first experimental group and by 15.5% in the second group compared to the control group, while ejaculate volume increased by 18.2% and 9.1%, respectively. A significant rise in the number of motile spermatozoa was observed, reaching 8.9% and 8.8%, while spermatozoa with linear progressive motility increased by 13.2% and 12.6%, indicating a substantial improvement in sperm quality. The administration of the preparation also led to a significant increase in testosterone levels in the experimental groups by 6.2% and 15.04% compared to the control group. This increase may positively influence the process of spermatogenesis and enhance the overall reproductive potential of the animals. The results showed that the complex biologically active preparation positively affects the quantitative and qualitative parameters of sperm obtained from rams in the experimental groups. en_US
