Abstract:
During the years 2020-2021, the particularities of growing sea buckthorn (Hippophae rhamnoides L.) from the Cora variety were studied depending on the management of the pruning: 1) shrub with annual pruning of fruiting branches during harvest; 2) tree with annual pruning of fruit branches; 3) tree driven after the bush with the cutting of the fruiting branches horizontally every two years during the harvest; 4) tree driven after pot improved with mowing every year during harvesting 2/3 of half crown; 5) shaft driven by structured shaft; 6) tree led by the mixed pyramid. Experimental data were obtained on the total length of the annual branches in the 6-7 years of vegetation, the parameters of the vegetative ensemble and the productivity of the plantation related to the cross section of the trunk. It was established that the management of the trees influenced the value of growth indicators in terms of their cutting intensity during the formation of the crown. The highest growth of trees characterized by the total length of annual branches was recorded in trees driven structured axis and the smallest increases were recorded in trees driven after the tree with horizontal cutting of branches every two years. The surface of the cross section of the trunk registered higher values in the trees driven after the improved vessel with the annual cutting of 2 / 3-3 / 4 of the volume ½ of the crown and structured axis, where fewer interventions were applied to the crown formation. The most productive crown shape depending on the driving and cutting method was the tree with the horizontal cutting of the branches once every 2 years.
