Abstract

The cabbage is one of the most important vegetable crops under cultivation. The cabbage is a cool season crop which grows best under cool, moist weather conditions. This vegetable can grow well on a wide range of soil types provided adequate moisture and fertilizer is supplied. The main objectives of the research were to study the particularities of growth and productivity of cabbage depending on the hybrid and the optimal planting timing. In order to achieve stable and economically efficient productions, it is recommended to establish the cabbage crop with the Suprem Vantage F1 hybrid with medium maturity planted in second decade of May and the late-maturing Marloo F1 hybrid planted in second decade of July.
