dc.description.abstract The scientific research presented in this study aimed to identify and characterize the structural elements of the autonomic nervous system involved in the innervation of all segments of the genital apparatus in the female rabbits, in the second and fourth months of postnatal development. This anatomical study revealed considerable variability in the organization of the nerve sources, particularly in their bilateral symmetry and their differentiation according to the stage of sexual maturation. The investigations were carried out by fine anatomical dissection techniques after the method of Vorobyov V.P., and by using the method of staining the nerve branches after Erlich-Dögel. As a result of these investigations, the main nerve sources and the basic plexuses were revealed, which, via connecting branches, distribute to all components of the female genital organs, originating in the lumbosacral segments of the Medulla spinalis. The analysis of age-dependent periodic changes demonstrated that, by the fourth month of life, the sources of innervation of the female genital organs in the rabbit undergo significant morphological changes, contributing to the efficient innervation of all segments of the reproductive system in the female rabbits. The highlighted transformations reflect the process of progressive adaptation of the neurogenic apparatus to the functional requirements of the development of the reproductive system, specific to the species Oryctolagus cuniculus. en_US
