Abstract

The presented device (motion converter) converts chaotic motion at the input into unidirectional steady rotation at the output. For example, it can feed an electric generator with energy absorbed from either a natural random process (e.g., surf) or from vibration of machines typically considered useless and detrimental. A simple speed increaser and a flywheel built-in into the system allow change velocity at the output in a controlled fashion.
