| dc.description.abstract | The research was dedicated to the study of the epidemiology of echinococcosis in animals in the Republic of Moldova. Since the disease has a slow, chronic, asymptomatic evolution more frequently it is detected late, occasionally in humans and at the time of slaughter of domestic animals, in slaughterhouses authorized by the National Agency for Food Safety. Research and data processing was carried out in the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, Technical University of Moldova. The given study focused on epidemiological investigation which included the evaluation of data on cases of cystic echinococcosis recorded in the period 2014-2023, in animals slaughtered in authorized slaughterhouses in the RM. Data were requested and obtained from the National Agency for Food Safety. | en_US |
