Abstract

Safety in the functioning of a renovated tribological system represents all features and properties that describe at the same time the availability and the factors that determine it: durability, maintainability, availability and maintenance logistics. A renovated durable tribological system is defined as a system, the behavior of which is directly related to surface interactions occurring in the relative movement of the elements in contact.
