Abstract:
The article presents a theoretical model for determining soil reactions that arise when a furrow is formed by a coulter of a cultural type, which determine its traction resistance and stability of work in depth. It is established that the depth of the coulter’s stability is greatly influenced by the angle formed by the lateral surface of the coulter with the horizontal plane. On the a priori level it is proved that the stable operation of the coulter is ensured with the value of the angle β≥ 710.
