Abstract:
This article overviews the results of the experimental research on the physical and tehnological properties of the seeds of new fodder crops: galega, Galega orientalis Lam. cv. Speranța., virginia mallow, Sida hermaphrodita Rusby cv. Energo, columbus grass Sorghum almum Parodi cv. Argentina, phacelia Phacelia tanacetifolia Benth. cv. Melifera, cup plant Silphium perfoliatum L. cv. Vital. The friability of the studied seeds, which according to the morphological structure belong to the category of elliptical seeds, the angle α is in the range α=26.5°- 37.3°. These peculiarities allow the use of existing sowing equipment, buildings and technical means in the agri-food sector, in technological processes of cultivation and use of new fodder crops.
