Abstract

The study is focused on assessing the influence of the biologically active remedies BioR and Butofan, intramuscularly administered to adult quails during the process of reconditioning, on certain protein metabolism parameters in blood serum. It has been determined that the tested remedies do not cause side effects in birds, moreover the BioR remedy has a positive impact on the functional liver status, reflected in better values of the basic protein metabolism parameters in blood serum.
