Abstract:
This article discusses treatment regimens for functional ovarian disorders in cows, leading to reduced growth and impaired animal productivity. The authors concluded that the drug from the group of prostaglandins, galapan, showed high efficiency in the treatment of persistence of the yellow bodies of the ovaries of dairy cattle. In the treatment of ovarian hypofunction, the most effective integrated regimen using follygone and estrofan preparations is the most effective. With follicular cysts, good results were obtained after applying 2.5% progesterone followed by the administration of galapan. The period from treatment to insemination was 19 days.
