Abstract:
The purpose of the research was to study the protein spectrum of bull semen at different stages of cryopreservation and to identify the possible inclusion of endogenous proteins in the composition of cryoprotective media. Experimental studies using spectrophotometric methods showed that lowering the temperature to -196 0С influences protein content in the study object, regardless of the method of their solubilization or sedimentation with the use of phosphate solutions of different concentrations. Determined the optimum concentration and efficiency of various proteins in cryopreservation of bull semen. The obtained results allow to conclude that endogenous proteins have cryoprotective properties and they can be used in the improvement of technologies for long-term preservation of the reproductive cells.
