Abstract

The study examined the economic indicators of egg production in a control group and two experimental groups of laying hens (EG1 and EG2) that received organic feed additives in their diet. The results demonstrated that implementing innovative feeding approaches improved poultry survival rates, increased total egg production, and enhanced profitability. Specifically, the experimental groups exhibited higher survival rates (EG1 – 98.3%, EG2 – 96.6%) and a significant increase in total egg production and revenue from egg sales, with profitability rising to 71.9% and 77.7%, respectively. Feed conversion efficiency was also higher in the experimental groups, contributing to reduced egg production costs and overall economic efficiency. These findings confirm the feasibility of incorporating organic feed additives into the diet of laying hens to enhance the profitability and sustainability of poultry enterprises.
