Abstract:
In cattle infested with S. papillosus the type I electrophoregram was established, characterized by a decrease in albumin level and the growth of α1 , α2 and γ. Globulins, while in those infested with D. lanceolatum, the proteinogram is of type VIII, manifested by the reduction of albumin and the increase α2 , β and γ globulines. The parasitic association between S. papillosus and D. lanceolatum causes the decreasing of protein level in the host organism, the decrease of albumin level and the elevation of the α 1 , α2, β and γ globulines.
