Abstract:
Currently, the positive effect of the BioR remedy, an injectable form, obtained by modern technologies from the cyanobacterial biomass of Spirulina platensis, has been demonstrated on pigs, rabbits and birds. In this context, the influence of the BioR-powder product on animals, in particular on rabbits intended for meat, is of interest. The purpose of this paper was to evaluate the effectiveness of a solid product form, conventionally called ZOOBOIOR. This paper included 120 recently weaned rabbits, divided into four equal groups: 3 experimental (EL) and the control group (CL). The experimental groups were fed different doses of BioR-powder (2.5; 5.0 and 10.0 mg/kg feed), whereas the control group did not receive this remedy. The importance of the tested product in improving the health and strengthening the productive potential in young rabbits during the breeding-fattening technological period is underlined. In addition, the results allow us to conclude that this biotechnological product during the study did not cause adverse reactions or other deviations in the development or health of the young rabbits.
