| dc.description.abstract | Technological progress has significantly influenced how people communicate, work, and interact. From the Industrial Revolution to the present day, technology has advanced exponentially, leading to the emergence of artificial intelligence, automation, and next-generation mobile networks. However, alongside the evident benefits, there are growing concerns regarding the impact of these technologies on public health, information security, and ethical issues, such as privacy violations and deepfake manipulations. These challenges raise important ethical and social dilemmas, fueling debates in contemporary society. In this context, universities play a crucial role in shaping an open mindset, fostering critical thinking, and nurturing creativity—essential skills in an era defined by rapid technological advancements. Higher education institutions not only prepare students for the future but also empower them to shape that future by equipping them with the necessary knowledge and diverse skill sets. Universities provide access to cutting-edge technology, facilitate interactive learning environments, and encourage hands-on experimentation, allowing students to apply theoretical knowledge in practice. Furthermore, they bear the responsibility of cultivating responsible, ethically aware individuals who can navigate and harness technological progress in a fair and constructive manner. | en_US |
