dc.description.abstract The discipline Communication and Academic Writing is an essential course taught at the Technical University of Moldova to students from various fields, including engineering and law. This subject focuses on developing written and verbal communication skills, emphasizing listening, presentation, and argumentation techniques. Through the implementation of diverse techniques and interactive methods, this course fosters professional competencies for students across different disciplines. Future specialists, including lawyers, benefit from acquiring essential skills such as structured learning, academic writing, and scientific research, including thesis writing, article publication, and public speaking. These competencies enhance students’ ability to express ideas clearly, both in writing and oral discourse. This discipline is a fundamental pillar of professional education and a key factor in a lawyer’s career success. In order to advance as legal professionals, students must develop critical thinking, argumentation precision, and clarity, which are crucial for effective interaction with clients, building trust, negotiating, and representing clients in court. For a lawyer, mastering Communication and Academic Writing is just as important as knowing and applying the law. It is not enough to be familiar with legal provisions; one must also possess the ability to interpret and articulate them effectively in written and verbal form. en_US
