The role of the discipline "communication and academic writing" in a lawyer's areer

Abstract

The discipline Communication and Academic Writing is an essential course taught at the Technical University of Moldova to students from various fields, including engineering and law. This subject focuses on developing written and verbal communication skills, emphasizing listening, presentation, and argumentation techniques. Through the implementation of diverse techniques and interactive methods, this course fosters professional competencies for students across different disciplines. Future specialists, including lawyers, benefit from acquiring essential skills such as structured learning, academic writing, and scientific research, including thesis writing, article publication, and public speaking.
