Abstract:
This article focuses on the issue of studying student’s vocabulary at the nonnative language lessons and the process of enriching it in order to form effective communication skills for a quicker and easier integration into the labour market and social life. The methods and techniques aimed at forming an active vocabulary to students can serve as a real help for language teachers. Depending on the competencies to be formed, as they dictate the didactic approach, the teacher selects the appropriate communicative, investigative-communicative or operational-communicative language teaching strategies.
