Abstract:
The study on the breeding of cows of the Black Spotted Breed of Moldovan type in a 400-heads flock in the breeding farms from the Republic of Moldova showed an increase in milk production with normal lactation from 4418,4 kg in 2012 with 3,72% fat and 166.01 kg total fat to 5483.0 kg in 2017 with 3.78% fat and 207.31 kg total fat. Values of standard variation and deviation have highlighted a pronounced variability in the batch of studied cattle, which offers possibilities for genetic selection and alleviation by retaining the plus-variants and multiplying the valuable genotypes in the reproduction process.
