Abstract:
The growth of domestic rabbits is a very topical but also prospective concern of our country. Of all mammals raised by man as a source of food, house rabbits have the best growth rate. The data obtained from the investigations indicate a rather high weight gain during the lactation period of about 18-20 g/day. The biggest weight gain of rabbits was recorded during the 60-90 days of life, being 31.6 - 33.5 g/day, indicating the increase of the rabbit youth until then and then slaughtered for meat production.
