Abstract:
We studied the parameters of sea buckthorn varieties: Cora, Clara, Mara and Dora, depending on planting distance and pruning methods. Experimental data on tree height and dimension were obtained in the 2nd and 3rd years after planting, according to variety, planting distance and pruning methods. It has been established that, according to the studied indicators, the vigor of plant growth of the Dora variety is lower compared to those of the Cora, Clara and Mara varieties. More favorable conditions for growing trees in height during this period were created by the mixed pyramid management where the highest values were recorded and the shape of the bush crown provided a greater development of the crown diameter.
