Abstract:
During the whole human activity people were and still are concerned with plants as direct or indirect food suppliers for the humankind, as energetic sources, in dendro-ornamental purposes, and the last but not the least as sources of vegetal origin for pharmaceutics. At present, about 20 thousand species of medicinal herbs supply almost 30% of pharmaceutical preparations of vegetal origin. A special attention in this regard is given to the species Echinacea purpurea (L.) Moench. The preparations obtained from these plants increase organism’s immunity and decrease the respiratory system infections. According to obtained experimental data the studied plant can be recommended for cultivation
