Abstract

There were experienced five variants of hybridization schemes using the breeds: Yorkshire, Landrace, Hampshire and Pietrain. According to final results there were obtained higher productivity indices of the growth rate for Hampshire and Pietrain breeds. The best daily average gain was observed in the case of hybrids obtained from using meat breeds of boars like Hampshire and Pietrain. Feed consumption also varied among the studied groups and the lowest has been noticed at the biracial hybrids Yorkshire X Hampshire and Yorkshire X Pietrain
