Abstract

Ways to develop a "green" economy in the Republic of Belarus. Characteristics of the aquatic environment of the Republic of Belarus. Influence of nitrogen and phosphorus in wastewater on the ecological state of water bodies. The main stages of reconstruction of wastewater treatment plants in settlements. Application of hydrolysis processes in primary sedimentation tanks, reconstruction of a biological treatment unit for deep removal of biogenic elements, reagent post-treatment for removal of total phosphorus from wastewater. Recommendations for choosing the optimal technology for the reconstruction of wastewater treatment plants in settlements.
