A identifica o persoană înseamnă a stabili identitatea acesteia, fiind astfel necesare anumite atribute.
This paper analyzes the identification attributes of the natural person within civil legal relationships, with the aim of highlighting the importance of these elements in determining the identity and legal capacity of the individual. The natural person designates the human being, regarded as a holder of subjective rights and civil obligations. The identification attributes of the natural person are essential elements for identifying an individual when participating in civil legal relationships. The individualization of the natural person refers to establishing their identity through means that allow their identification within civil legal relationships. This is necessary because society has an interest in ensuring that each of its members can be identified in the multiple legal relationships in which they participate. To identify a person means to establish their identity; therefore, certain attributes are required. In private law, the main means of identifying a natural person are: name, domicile, and civil status. The name allows the recognition and designation of the natural person, the domicile indicates the place where they can be found, and the civil status establishes the legal identity of that person. The identification attributes of the natural person are non-patrimonial rights and present specific characteristics, being imprescriptible, non-seizable, inalienable, enforceable erga omnes, belonging to every natural person, and not susceptible to exercise through representation.
