Acţiunea apei electrochimic activate asupra calităţii blocurilor pentru pereţi tip Fortan

Abstract

The article is dedicated to the investigation of the influence of Electrochemically Activated Water (EAW) on the quality parameters of the bricks Fortan. This kind of bricks is more widely used in construction and building industry of the country to build both the inside and outside walls. The EAW has been obtained in a special designed electrochemical water treatment unit. After obtaining anolyte and catholyte as result of water electrolysis, they have been used for preparing the samples of the blocks Fortan. The measurement of hardness, hygroscopic capacity and density of obtained samples, has shown that the best quality parameters have been reached by using anolyte for the preparation of the sample.
