dc.description.abstract The rapid evolution of artificial intelligence (AI), particularly generative AI, is transforming the landscape of human resource management (HRM). This paper examines the use of generative AI as an advanced tool in HRM functions, with a primary focus on recruitment and talent acquisition. In today’s complex labor market, HR professionals must possess a diverse set of competencies, including interpersonal communication, ethical judgment, data interpretation, and technological proficiency, to fully harness AI capabilities. Through an analysis of current literature and selected case studies, this article demonstrates how AI contributes to improving recruitment processes by enhancing candidate screening, reducing time-to-hire, increasing accuracy in job matching, and supporting unbiased decision-making. The paper also presents an overview of the implementation of generative AI in HRM within the Republic of Poland, illustrating how public and private institutions are adopting innovative digital solutions to streamline recruitment and ensure higher quality outcomes. These practices reflect a broader trend toward the digital transformation of human resources, supported by policy frameworks and technological infrastructure. By analyzing real-world applications and outcomes, the study provides insights into both the opportunities and challenges of using generative AI in HRM. Ultimately, the paper argues that responsible and strategic integration of AI can enhance efficiency, transparency, and effectiveness in human resource processes, contributing to more sustainable and inclusive organizational development. en_US
