| dc.description.abstract | Programming languages have changed a lot over time to make it easier for people to tell computers what to do. This paper looks at how we moved from using punch cards to write code to today's advanced systems that use artificial intelligence, like ChatGPT. It talks about the journey from older languages like FORTRAN and COBOL to modern ones, and how some programming styles, like functional programming, have made a comeback with languages such as Haskell and Scala to keep up with new technology. It also talks about popular coding languages today, that would be Python and Rust, which are designed to be user-friendly but still pretty strong. Good coding needs clear plans and rules to make sure everything runs smoothly. In the end, the study says that coding is a mix of art and science, with AI lending a hand but not replacing the creative touch that people have when tackling tech problems today. | en_US |
