dc.description.abstract In the context of rising energy prices and the commitment to the ecological transition, energy self-sufficiency in housing is becoming a priority direction for the sustainable development of the Republic of Moldova. Solar energy, as a renewable source with high potential, contributes significantly to reducing greenhouse gas emissions and optimizing consumption costs. The present study analyzes the feasibility of implementing a hybrid photovoltaic system with 10 kW storage, applied to a residential house. The offers available on the local market, the cost-benefit ratio, the payback period and the impact on energy comfort are evaluated. By modeling consumption scenarios and solar panel types, the economic and technical viability of the proposed solution is demonstrated. Results indicate a high potential for replication in the residential environment with direct benefits on energy security. The conclusion emphasizes the importance of an integrated technical, economic and social approach to make energy autonomy an affordable, efficient and sustainable option in the current context of the Republic of Moldova. en_US
