Acţiuni şi măsuri specifice de combatere a migraţiei ilegale la nivelul Republicii Moldova şi UE

Abstract

Illegal migration causes multiple problems related to employment, violation of the rights of Moldovan citizens abroad, illegal entry of foreign citizens and stateless persons into the country, illegal transit of the territory of the country, illicit trafficking in human beings, worsening of the criminogenic situation. Therefore, a number of actions and specific measures to combat illegal migration must be undertaken, in particular: criminal investigation and punishment of government officials, which "cover" illegal migration and organize it; activities focused on the diaspora, including patriotism stimulation, socio-economic, legal and informational aspects; combating trafficking in human beings in order to be exploited in various forms; adjust the current legislative framework to EU legislation to eliminate some gaps and avoid duplicating regulations, etc.
