Producerea strugurilor de masă în Republica Moldova – starea actuală şi perspective de dezvoltare

Abstract

The viticulture is an important branch of the national economy. Presently, approximately 101,500 ha of vine yards are planted, whereof 16 thousand ha are table varieties. The business related to the table grapes growing is profitable due to the following reasons: the market demand for table grapes is in continuous growth, soils with medium bonity can be used, and availability of investment projects providing advantageous conditions. Additionally, the proper maintenance allows exploiting the vine yards for a period of 25-40 years, and even longer, and the most important aspect is the recovery period of the investments, which is about 4 years on yield (or approximately 8 years from it has been planted). The amount of the investment necessary for planting one ha of table varieties makes 180 thousand lei. The income and cost budget for one ha of table grapes on yield allows annually to get an estimate amount of incomes from sales in the volume of 66,000 lei, the sales costs make 24,696 lei and the possible annual profit is 41,304 lei.
