Abstract:
In the period of 2000-2004 on the experimental lots EDS (Experimental Didactic Station) „Chetosu” different periods of the winter wheat sowing have been studied to establish the best period of this crop sowing. The results have been done on the carbonic black soil where the humus concentration was 3,6% and the pH-7,4. The sowing has been done in different periods: the 30-th of august, the 15th-30th of october. There have been tested the following varietes: Odeskaia 267, Strumok and Victoria Odeskaia. It was established that the best period of the wheat sowing is between the 15th and the 30th of september and it lasts 10-15 days. During an earlier period the yield is lower because the crop suffer from different plant diseases and pests. The belated sowing leads to less vigorous plants and in both cases the yield is lower.
