Abstract

The results of the research confirm that on natural grazing the contamination with dicroceliosis in ants can be seen throughout the whole season of grazing. In order to clarify the seasonal dynamic of dicroceliosis we have carried out examinations in lambs. It was stated that the intensity of invasion of dicroceliosis in lambs was of 0%, whereas in June it was 50%. Later the number of infested lambs has increased a lot and by the end of July almost all animals were infested. The extensiveness of the invasion remained the same until April the next year. A complex of measures is recommended for preventing the contamination of animals on grazing and creating unfavorable conditions for the development of larvae in the intermediary and complementary hosts.
