Abstract:
This paper deals with the aspects of the distance learning for agricultural information management – IMARK, which provides librarians and agricultural information specialists with the necessary skills and strategies to the effective information management. The article describes the content of the IMARK modules, learning principles, the on-line communities, advantages and facilities of IMARK. Materials contained in IMARK can be used to support face-to-face training with a specific instructional design and methodology, supported by sets of guidelines.
